My question is to the Minister for Immigration. The Albanese government, primarily under Minister Giles, has issued more than 2,900 visas to individuals from the Gaza war zone since the October 7 atrocity. Were all these individuals asked whether or not they have sympathies for Hamas, a listed terrorist organisation?

First of all, it's odd to have people thinking they can be in charge of national security when they can't even nominate for local government as a party!
I explained yesterday the process and the involvement that ASIO has in terms of the process we have, which is the same as what was used under the previous government.
