I extend my deepest gratitude and thanks to the people of Bonner for yet another fantastic year. Being part of a strong community is one of the most important and rewarding parts of life, and every individual has played a vital role in making Bonner the wonderful community that it is today.

Today, there are a few groups that I would like to acknowledge in particular. To the teachers of Bonner, I thank you for your passion and commitment to education, shaping and inspiring our young people. I'm sure it's not always an easy task, but you play a key role in nurturing our community and I'm sincerely grateful for all your hard work and dedication.

I'd also like to recognise our local businesses in Bonner. Reflecting on my days as a small-business owner in Carina, I understand how challenging it can be even at the best of times. I also know that your work is crucial to bringing our community together, and I thank you for your continued efforts.

Finally, I would like to thank our amazing Bonner locals. I'm so proud to be part of this community and to stand alongside my neighbours and friends. It's my greatest honour to represent the incredible people of Bonner down here in Canberra, and I'm looking forward to all the success that awaits Bonner in 2025.
