Mr Speaker, I understand there is a question. I wasn't in the chamber at the time, but there is a possibility that a call for a division was intended to be withdrawn. I'm not sure whether that is correct or not, but the members who the clerks believe called for the division are in the chamber, and if we can resolve that then we can work through the rest of the evening's business.

I seek leave to withdraw the division that was called for by me and the member for North Sydney on the question that the debate on the Migration Amendment (Prohibiting Items in Immigration Detention Facilities) Bill 2024 be adjourned until a later hour. Just for clarification—and this is really a question of the Leader of the House—the member for North Sydney and I do want to divide on the substantive question on the bill, but we had no intention of calling a division on the motion to adjourn debate.
Leave granted.
Question agreed to.
