Constituents in my electorate can be assured that my No. 1 priority as the member for Dunkley as well as the Albanese Labor government's priority is addressing cost-of-living pressures on households. We know that people in our communities are doing it tough. That's why we've been laser focused on providing cost-of-living relief for all Australians. It's why we've delivered tax cuts for every taxpayer, not just some, meaning that more people will keep more of what they earn. We've delivered $300 in energy bill relief for every Australian household and $325 for every small business. We've delivered wage increases for those on minimum wages, with three consecutive increases to minimum wages across 2022, 2023 and 2024. This is on top of pay rises for early childhood workers and aged-care workers. We've also delivered cheaper medicines, making hundreds of common medicines cheaper by allowing millions of Australians to buy two months worth of medicines for the price of a single prescription.
However, the Liberals oppose all that we have put on the table and delivered. They are all about negativity, and they have no plan. However, the Labor government is getting on with delivering for every Australian.
