I thank the minister for her comments, and I will address some of those in a moment. I first want to deal with the issue of whether or not the amendment is relevant to the bill. The contributions on that issue that we heard from Senator Kemp, from the government, and Senator Ludwig, from the opposition, were not only disappointing but dishonest.
