Mr President, on a point of order: standing orders require that a minister’s answer be directly relevant to the question that was asked. I was expecting Senator Evans to get up on a pious point of order in relation to somebody trying to debate an issue but, given that he did not, I thought I would bring it to his and your attention, Mr President, and invite the minister to be directly relevant to the question that was actually asked.
