We are getting increasing evidence now that the government’s decisive action is working. In the last couple of days we have had reports from the IMF and the OECD that confirm that the economic stimulus package that the government put in place is starting to have a large impact on the Australian economy. People like Senator Joyce ought to focus on these things rather than negativity and the sideshows that we have seen in recent days. Those opposite have not been talking about jobs and the economy; they have been attempting to attack the Treasurer using false documents. Senator Abetz tried to use false documents at Senate estimates to mislead the Senate. He ought to answer this question: did he meet with Mr Grech beforehand and abuse Senate processes?
