Mr President, can I seek an explanation about a letter I sent to you on the matter of what I think are allegations of criminal perjury raised by a Treasury official coaching the witness before he appeared at that committee. Will that be dealt with under the previous privileges matter or under my privileges matter? This is about a Treasury official, according to the Audit Office, according to the witness, making allegations that he was coached that, ‘If you change your evidence, say you forgot or you were confused if they approach this matter in the committee.’ I think that is a matter of criminal conspiracy.
