How unsatisfactory was that! The opposition has accepted the Attorney-General’s assurance that the Access to Justice (Civil Litigation Reforms) Amendment Bill 2009—another bill, not the one we are amending tonight—will be dealt with in the parliament in the coming three weeks. But there is no assurance whatsoever that, once this bill has the amendment that I have brought forward here tonight attached to it, it will be passed into law this year. That is the difference.
