I thank Senator Mason for his comments. I am particularly pleased to see that he is still able to make those comments from the front bench. He has served the Liberal Party well in his role with a very limited brief. He has an enormous challenge with the limited brief that he has. I think he has approached his duties with remarkable diligence. I trust that your resignation has not been accepted, Senator, although it is not clear whether or not that is the case. In the reshuffle that I understand is about to come, I look forward to you being able to take on increased responsibilities for the coalition in this area.
