During question time I took on notice a question from Senator Birmingham. I respond with the following information. My concern, my role and that of my office was to have the home insulation program rolled out effectively and provide jobs to thousands of people who needed them with the onset of the global financial crisis—unlike coalition senators on the other side of the chamber, who opposed the stimulus package and those jobs.
