In summing up, I thank those who have contributed to the debate on the Building Energy Efficiency Disclosure Bill 2010. We are trying, in the shortest possible time available, to get through a range of non-controversial pieces of legislation. It would be appreciated if senators would confine their speeches. I know I can only request that they cooperate. The object is to get through as many bills this morning in the shortest time as possible—some of them will have requests and some of them will have amendments—so that they can go to the House and come back and we can conclude the program in a reasonable time.. I require all senators’ cooperation with that. I understand the opposition have very generously extended their cooperation to achieve this for the government. I do acknowledge and recognise their cooperation. I thank them for their cooperation in dealing with the legislation. I will not say any more. I hope everyone understands what we are trying to achieve this morning. It is to ensure that we can get through the program, that we can all make the necessary contributions to make our points and that we can do that expeditiously and in a way that will ensure that the legislative program of the government is finalised. I end by thanking the opposition again.
Question negatived.
