Language Rights of Tibetans

I move:
That the Senate—
- (a)
- supports the right of Tibetans to:
- (i)
- be educated in their own language, and
- (ii)
- peacefully protest to protect their right to speak their own language; and
- (b)
- recognises the importance of language in a people’s social, cultural, religious, academic and artistic endeavours.
