On behalf of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works, I present report No. 3 of 2011, Referrals made February to March 2011. I move:

That the Senate take note of the report.

I wish to commend the work of the Public Works Committee to the Senate. Over the last few years I think the committee has finally succeeded in convincing departments to make sure that their proposals are well documented and well credentialed so that they may pass the appropriate scrutiny processes. I would further exhort all departments that make representations to the Public Works Com­mittee to make sure that they have complied with the processes of the committee. I would like to add that I have enjoyed my work on the committee very much.
