What we have done is allow a lead time for the transport industry. Like many other industries, there is a lead time for them to develop alternative and more efficient ways of dealing with this. But this government is determined to ensure that we have a clean energy future, that we put a price on carbon, that we do reduce our carbon emissions. The agricultural industry and a range of industries will benefit significantly from this package, because what we intend to do when the Senate passes this legislation is create opportunities in both reducing and sequestering carbon.
