Mr President, my question is to the Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research, Senator Carr. I refer the minister to yesterday's advance of $100 million to BlueScope Steel under the $300 million Steel Transformation Plan. Can the minister explain what the government will do to compensate workers in the steel industry for lost jobs in later years under the carbon tax when at least a third of the funding allocated to transformation in the industry has already been used a year before the tax has even begun?
