The Minister for Infrastructure and Transport has provided the following answer to the honourable senator's question:

(1) There were no allowances paid to employees or contractors working at sea during

2010-11.

(2) There is no daily allowance for working at sea.

(3) There were no days spent at sea by employees or contractors during 2010-11.
