The Aviation Transport Security Amendment (Inbound Cargo Security Enhancement) Bill 2013 makes two unrelated amendments to the Aviation Transport Security Act 2004, which governs our aviation security arrangements in Australia. Firstly, the act will be amended to strengthen our aviation security regulatory arrangements and to supervise their operation. Secondly, a minor drafting error in the 2011 amendment will be corrected. This is basically housekeeping.
