My question is to the Minister representing the Prime Minister, Senator Abetz. If circumstances do not change, Australia will be left with no Direct Action Plan, no carbon price and no emissions trading scheme. Will the government now move to a new emissions trading scheme, or is the Prime Minister prepared to leave the country with no economy-wide plan to tackle climate change?
