I am genuinely delighted to participate in this debate on the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Amendment (Bilateral Agreement Implementation) Bill 2014, which will bring sense and protection to Australia's environmental assets and the way we deal with them. I have just had the misfortune of having to listen to 20 minutes of what were effectively lies and unsubstantiated accusations against very responsible, honest and effective people in our country.
