My question is to the Attorney-General. Like many others, the Attorney-General has celebrated the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta this week, praising it for limiting the arbitrary power of the Crown. Does it then pain the Attorney-General to have to simultaneously promote new citizenship laws which will drastically increase the arbitrary powers of the executive, or is the minister oblivious to what appears to be staggering hypocrisy?
