As the Minister for Employment in the Turnbull government, our position is very clear. My position is the government's position, and the government's position is that it is for the Fair Work Commission to set penalty rates. The only reason that those on the other side are raising the issue of penalty rates is that they have no plan for employment in this country. We know that because they have spent most of this year playing to the puppet masters in the CFMEU in relation to the implementation of the China free trade agreement. Those on the other side are beholden to their union masters.
