I thank the minister for the statement she has made. However, I believe the amendments would improve the bill and would put the principles she has outlined into legislation. That would be a more effective way of dealing with the basic questions about coercion when it comes to the mistreatment of people who are holding various visas. Having said that, I am more than happy if the matter is now put, if so desired by the chamber.
