I support Senator Di Natale on this. He mentioned that sometimes in this place we forget the effects we have on everyday people. I saw everyday people with these medical conditions at the MardiGrass at Nimbin last weekend—I saw hundreds of them. Thousands of people were there. I met a man who had done ten months jail last year for getting cannabis oil for a family friend's baby. I met a woman whose child had like 900 or a thousand convulsions and, when they started taking cannabis oil, they stopped spasming. I talked to a man with brain damage who is taking cannabis oil daily. We had a funny moment there because he said he has invested in the company that is now listed in Victoria. They are making moves in Victoria. They are getting some medical cannabis. These people are not criminals. There should be an amnesty on all parents who have been charged with criminal offences for trying to ease their children's suffering and especially for terminally ill people—
