I inform the Senate that earlier today, accompanied by honourable senators, I presented to the Governor-General the address-in-reply to his speech made on the occasion of the opening of the parliament, which was agreed to on 19 September this year. The Governor-General indicated that he would convey the address-in-reply to Her Majesty the Queen.
