Gas is critical to the Australian economy and is a key element of the COVID-19 recovery. We want to see Australian gas working for all Australians. Securing community acceptance for new gas projects is key to ensuring that industry can thrive and communities can reap the benefits. The local member's concerns and opposition to the project have been noted.
