My question is to the Minister representing the Minister for Defence. Lawyers are taking the Australian Defence Force to court on behalf of a young former recruit. They are alleging that, on 1 October 2020, the former RAAF aircraftman was bound, gagged and strangled by fellow recruits. In a video that appears to be of the events, the recruit is sexually assaulted. Minister, this is torture; this seems to be becoming standard behaviour in the Defence Force. It's the torture of an Australian who signed up to serve his country. When did Minister Dutton become aware of these allegations?
