Senator Griff, what I wanted to say is that the News Media and Digital Platforms Mandatory Bargaining Code and the commercial agreements that have been negotiated between Google, Meta and the ABC have now allowed the ABC—and they have publicly committed to this—to use any of those funds from those agreements to support regional journalism specifically. On 5 November 2021, the ABC unveiled plans for major investment in regional and rural broadcasting and journalism, using the proceeds from its agreement with Google— (Time expired)
