Order! The President has received letters requesting changes in the membership of committees. There are two nominations for the one position on each of the Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters and the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade. In accordance with standing orders, ballots will be held to determine which of the two senators are to be appointed. Other committee memberships may also require ballots. The ballots will be held later in the week at a time convenient to the Senate.
