SELECTION OF BILLS COMMITTEE
REPORT NO. 7 OF 2022
1. The committee met in private session on Wednesday, 23 November 2022 at 7.13 pm.
2. The committee recommends that—
(a) the provisions of the Treasury Laws Amendment (2022 Measures No. 4) Bill 2022 be referred immediately to the Economics Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 25 January 2023 (see appendix 1 for a statement of reasons for referral).
(b) the provisions of the Treasury Laws Amendment (Modernising Business Communications and Other Measures) Bill 2022 be referred immediately to the Economics Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 25 January 2023 (see appendix 2 for a statement of reasons for referral); and
3. The committee recommends that the following bills not be referred to committees:
Appropriation Bill (No. 2) 2022-2023
Appropriation (Parliamentary Departments) Bill (No. 1) 2022-2023
National Anti-Corruption Commission (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Bill 2022
Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Import Levy) Amendment Bill 2022
Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Manufacture Levy) Amendment Bill 2022
