Who is the one person who should feel most aggrieved about where Western Australia's cultural heritage laws are up to? That one person is the former Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Ben Wyatt. When the draft laws were prepared back in 2020, he said: 'I am confident that we have a path forward to introduce historic reform that reflects modern values.'
