I believed it, too. So, when I saw the motion to bring this on, I thought, 'Oh, well, the government's being silly! Why would they be doing this?' But, clearly, a deal has been done. We don't know the price yet. We don't know what they've secured. We don't know what smoke-filled room they were sitting in when they hatched this plan. But we do know that it is going to be a terrible one, because every time the Australian Greens political party get their hands on the levers, on decision-making powers in this place, things go south.
