At the request of Senator Kovacic, I move:

That there be laid on the table by the Minister representing the Minister for Industry and Science, by no later than midday on 4 October 2024:

(a) all advice from the Chief Scientist provided by the Department of Industry, Science and Resources (the department) to the office of the Minister for Industry and Science regarding:

(i) PsiQuantum, including but not limited to advice provided on:

(A) 29 August 2022,

(B) 25 November 2022,

(C) 22 December 2022,

(D) 17 February 2023,

(E) 10 May 2023, and

(F) 7 September 2023, and

(ii) the assessment of the PsiQuantum expression of interest market testing applications for the expression of interest round that closed in September 2023;

(b) the department's ministerial submission and attachments for the document with department reference 'MS22-001540';

(c) the draft Quantum Strategy of 2022; and

(d) the document that details the department's assessment of the PsiQuantum expression of interest market testing applications for the expression of interest round that closed in September 2023.
