The minister has repeatedly said that First Nations Australians have been asking for and offering for decades to be listened to on matters that impact on their lives, so, why, in the case of her rejection of the construction for McPhillamys gold mine tailings dam, is the government not listening to the legally recognised local elders and members of the Orange Local Aboriginal Land Council?
