by leave—I wish to clarify an answer I gave at question time yesterday in response to a question asked by Senator Ian Macdonald. Yesterday in Senate question time, I gave an answer based on departmental advice relating to the Asia-Pacific Network for Energy Technology, which is within the portfolio of Resources, Energy and Tourism. On the basis of advice I have now received from my department, I wish to clarify my answer so there is no ambiguity. I am now advised that the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism will consider further resourcing of and the use of existing resources for this program in due course.
