I advise the Senate that Senator Sherry will be absent from question time today. He is in the United States of America, where he has just signed a landmark agreement with the United States on the mutual recognition of securities arrangement. I think he is actually in the air flying back and will be with us tomorrow. I apologise for the fact that he will be absent today. In his absence, Senator Conroy will take responsibility for superannuation, corporate law, finance and deregulation; Senator Wong will take responsibility for agriculture, fisheries and forestry; and Senator Carr will demonstrate his strong grasp of the Tourism portfolio if required.
