Following the receipt of correspondence and a briefing from a departmental official, on behalf of the Senate Standing Committee on Regulations and Ordinances, I give notice that on the next day of sitting I shall withdraw business of the Senate notice of motion No. 1 standing in my name for two sitting days after today for the disallowance of the Aviation Transport Security Amendment Regulations 2009 (No. 1). I seek leave to table the committee’s correspondence concerning this instrument.
