asked the Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, upon notice, on 15 September 2011:
With reference to the answer provided to Question no. 325 taken on notice during the 2011-12 Budget Estimates of the Environment and Communications Legislation Committee in June 2011, did the NBN Co pay any money to the Communications, Electrical and Plumbing Union for the opportunity to provide the presentation, or for places that may not have been taken up.

The Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy has provided the following answer to the honourable senator's question:
NBN Co Limited (NBN Co) has advised that it did not pay any money to the Communications, Electrical and Plumbing Union in relation to this presentation.
