Mr Deputy President, I may have inadvertently misled the chamber during question time, and I seek to make a correction. During my answer to a question I asserted that in the lead-up to the last election Senator Conroy was one of a series of Labor senators who had campaigned to scrap the carbon tax. It has been brought to my attention that in fact Senator Conroy was on holiday overseas and did not participate in the most recent campaign. I apologise for any offence caused to Senator Conroy. It was of course Senator Pratt who had actively campaigned to scrap the carbon tax.
