I inform the Senate that I have received a letter from Senator Milne resigning her place as a senator for the state of Tasmania. Pursuant to the provisions of section 21 of the Constitution, I have notified the Governor of Tasmania of the vacancy in the representation of that state caused by her resignation. I table the letter and a copy of my letter to the Governor of Tasmania.
