Bilateral agreements for transition to the full scheme of the NDIS were signed by the Prime Minister and the premiers of South Australia and Tasmania at COAG on 11 December last year. South Australia and Tasmania have now joined New South Wales, Victoria and the ACT with plans in place for transition to full scheme. Together they will provide insurance to around 300,000 people with disability—more than 65 per cent of the estimated 460,000 people who will access the NDIS nationwide. Negotiations with other jurisdictions are progressing well, and the government remains committed to rolling out the NDIS in full.
Question agreed to.
