My question is to the Attorney-General, Senator Brandis, who will be relieved to know that it is not about superannuation. Has the Attorney-General had any discussions with the Prime Minister, the foreign minister or any other members of cabinet regarding his possible appointment to a diplomatic position?

I am happy to ask this question. Has the Attorney-General had any discussions with the Prime Minister or any other members of cabinet regarding his possible appointment to a judicial position?

I cannot help but be flattered, Senator Bilyk, but the answer to your question is no.

Senator Bilyk, I thought the day would never come when I would enjoy a question from you, but that day has come at last. Yes, I can rule that out.
