I wish to provide further information in response to a question asked by Senator Cameron during question time. I indicated that I would take on notice and provide details of the exact qualifications. I can advise Senator Cameron and the Senate that participants in the program will become qualified and licensed tradespeople in the building and construction industry, and that all participants will receive a Certificate III in Carpentry and a Certificate IV in Building and Construction. At the completion of the project, participants who successfully complete training will meet South Australia's consumer and business services requirement and the Building Work Contractors Act 1995 occupational and business criteria licence requirements for building work contractor's licence and building work supervisor's registration.
