I present the fourth report of 2018 of the Selection of Bills Committee, and I seek leave to have the report incorporated in Hansard.

The report read as follows—
SELECTION OF BILLS COMMITTEE
Report no. 4 of 2018
1. The committee met in private session on Tuesday, 27 March 2018 at 7.30 PM.
2. The committee recommends that—
(a) contingent upon introduction in the House of Representatives, the provisions of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Amendment (Indigenous Land Corporation) Bill 2018; and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Land and Sea Future Fund Bill 2018 and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Land and Sea Future Fund (Consequential Amendments) Bill 2018 be referred immediately to the Finance and Public Administration Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 7 May 2018 (see appendix 1 for a statement of reasons for referral);
(b) the provisions of the Air Services Amendment Bill 2018 be referred immediately to the Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 25 June 2018 (see appendix 2 for a statement of reasons for referral);
(c) contingent upon introduction in the House of Representatives, the provisions of the National Consumer Credit Protection Amendment (Mandatory Comprehensive Credit Reporting) Bill 2018 be referred immediately to the Economics Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 28 May 2018 (see appendix 3 for a statement of reasons for referral);
(d) the provisions of the Road Vehicle Standards Bill 2018, Road Vehicle Standards (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Bill 2018, Road Vehicle Standards Charges (Imposition - General) Bill 2018, Road Vehicle Standards Charges (Imposition - Customs) Bill 2018, and Road Vehicle Standards Charges (Imposition - Excise) Bill 201 be referred immediately to the Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 7 May 2018 (see appendix 4 for a statement of reasons for referral); and
(e) the provisions of the Social Services Legislation Amendment (Encouraging Self-sufficiency for Newly Arrived Migrants) Bill 2018 be referred immediately to the Community Affairs Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 4 May 2018 (see appendix 5 for a statement of reasons for referral).
