I have received letters nominating senators to be members of committees. I draw the Senate's attention to there being two nominations for the one position on each of the following committees: the Environment and Communications legislation and references committees, the Finance and Public Administration legislation and references committees, and the Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport legislation and reference committees. In accordance with the standing orders, ballots will need to be held to determine which one of the two senators who have nominated is to be appointed to each committee. I inform the Senate that the ballots will be held on Thursday, 4 July 2019.
