On behalf of the Standing Committee on Regulations and Ordinances, I give notice of my intention, at the giving of notices on the next day of sitting, to withdraw business of the Senate notice of motion No. 1 standing in my name for that day, proposing the disallowance of the Quality of Care Amendment (Minimising the Use of Restraints) Principles 2019. I'm pleased to advise the chamber that on 25 November an instrument to implement the minister's undertaking was registered in the Federal Register of Legislation and, as a result, the committee has resolved to withdraw the notice of motion to disallow the instrument.

I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move a motion about, sadly, more people dying in coalmines because there are no workplace health and safety laws.
