by leave—On behalf of Senator Hanson, I move Pauline Hanson One Nation amendments (4) and (5) together on sheet 1468.
(4) Schedule 1, item 12, page 21 (after line 30), after paragraph 171D(1)(c), insert:
; and (d) none of the following applies:
(i) the use or disclosure is required or permitted by a law of the Commonwealth or a prescribed law of a State or Territory;
(ii) the use or disclosure is made to ASIC for the purposes of the performance of ASIC's functions, or the exercise of its powers, under the corporations legislation or the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 ;
(iii) the use or disclosure is made to the Tax Practitioners Board for the purposes of the performance of the Board's functions, or the exercise of its powers, under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 ;
(iv) the use or disclosure is made for the purposes of the performance of the panel's functions or the exercise of its powers;
(v) the use or disclosure is made to another Financial Services and Credit Panel for the purposes of the performance of the other panel's functions or the exercise of the other panel's powers.
(5) Schedule 1, item 12, page 22 (lines 1 to 17), omit subsection 171D(2).
We also oppose subsections 170(4), 171(2) and 171A(2) in item 12 of schedule 1 in the following terms:
(1) Schedule 1, item 12, page 19 (lines 28 and 29), subsection 170(4) to be opposed .
(2) Schedule 1, item 12, page 20 (line 12), subsection 171(2) to be opposed .
(3) Schedule 1, item 12, page 20 (line 21), subsection 171A(2) to be opposed .
