At the request of the chairs of the respective committees, I present reports of the Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport References Committee and the Environment and Communications References Committee on matters referred to the committees during the previous parliament. I move:

That the reports be adopted.

For the information of senators: the report of the Environment and Communications References Committee recommends new terms of reference for the committee's inquiry into Australia's extinction crisis.
