Senators, the time allotted for consideration of the bills listed in the order agreed to earlier today has expired. I will now put the questions required to conclude consideration of the bills, starting with the Defence Amendment (Safeguarding Australia's Military Secrets) Bill 2024 and a related bill. The question is that the bills be now read a third time.

I was seeking the call to provide a clarification. I miss-voted on one of the previous motions, on 505. I was wondering whether that could be corrected in that I actually meant to oppose 505. Apologies.

We are a long way past that, Senator Pocock.

I was just waiting to seek the call before we moved on to the guillotine.

I rise on a point of order. The senator is not in order. We have moved on. If it didn't change the vote, you can just record your position. I think you have done that now.

Thank you. We will record your vote, Senator Pocock. The question is that the Defence Amendment (Safeguarding Australia's Military Secrets) Bill 2024 and the Defence Trade Controls Amendment Bill 2024 be read a third time.
