I move:

That the continuing order of the Senate of 17 October 2018 relating to quarterly updates of Australia's National Greenhouse Gas Inventory, be amended as follows:

(a) Paragraph (1), after "not later than", insert "11.30 am on the day"; and

(b) Omit paragraph (2), substitute:

(2) Once received by the Clerk or the President, documents returned and any correspondence responding to the order shall be deemed to have been presented to the Senate, and publication of the documents is authorised.

For information the amended order will read:

(1) That there be laid on the table by the Minister representing the Minister for the Environment and Water, by not later than 11.30 am on the day 5 calendar months after each:

(a) 31 March;

(b) 30 June;

(c) 30 September; and

(d) 31 December;

the quarterly update of Australia's National Greenhouse Gas Inventory.

(2) Once received by the Clerk or the President, documents returned and any correspondence responding to the order shall be deemed to have been presented to the Senate, and publication of the documents is authorised.

(3) This order is of continuing effect.
